A cheeky planting

The wait for the weekend allotment trip was too long so I did a little planting this evening! Thought I'd better re-pot my chillis so they've got more room to let the roots grow (GRRRRR! as Richard Jackson would say) the sweetcorn seeds also got planted...got 6 pots so will that be enough??
Planning on a little visit to the plot straight after work...no hanging around THAT place longer than needed for me! Just hope my other allotment plantings are surviving!

  1. And I've done it!! I'm sitting here on a raised bed with beetroot, carrots, leeks, sunflowers sown and the sunshine is beautifully warm in my back. Bliss!!!

  2. Forgot to say..the sprouts are sprouting, the radishes are revealing and more buds are bursting. Happy days!

  3. Excellent! Got my Jerusalem artichokes in yesterday, too, in the sunshine and will be pottering out there again today, ditto.

Have voted for the crab apple because the little apples are so pretty and they make a lovely pink jam/jelly.

  4. Thank you for voting! That's one reason (the main reason really!) why I'm wanting a crab apple. But then I'd like to have a go at quince jam too! it'll have to be one step at a time....
